Last Day of School

Congratulations to our upcoming McKenzie School District - CLASS of 2026 Graduates . Mercy is a Class of 2026 senior at McKenzie who participated in both the McKenzie River Community School and UpRiver ONLINE Learning Program. We are excited to celebrate with her and the other graduates at the McKenzie School District Graduation on May 30th. McKenzie is rich in history - our second collage of photos highlights some of the past graduates from McKenzie. You can see more photos on our school walls. Much thanks to Betsy Gabriel for sharing these awesome photos!

Big things are happening on the track for our McKenzie student-athletes! Their hard work, dedication, and team spirit are paying off, and it’s time to show them some hometown support.

• Middle School Track, Wednesday, April 29 at 3:30 p.m., at Waldport

• High School Track – Harrisburg Twilight Meet, Friday, May 1 at 4:30 p.m. at Harrisburg

Come out, bring your energy, and cheer on our Eagles. Let’s pack the stands and show these athletes how proud we are. #GoEagles

McKenzie School District is helping students thrive through UpRiver ONLINE, a personalized learning option for kindergarten through 12th grade.
Families tell us they value the flexibility, one on one support, and the ability for students to learn at a pace that fits their needs.

UpRiver ONLINE combines the best of both worlds. Students can learn from home with strong academic support, while still staying connected to our school community through in-person opportunities. This model helps students build confidence, stay engaged, and move forward in a way that works for them.

If your family is looking for a flexible, supportive education option, enrollment for UpRiver ONLINE is open now.

At McKenzie, small classes mean students get real attention and real connections with their teachers. It creates a learning environment where kids feel supported and motivated to try new things. If you’ve ever wondered what a small school can offer, come take a tour and see the big things happening here.
